Morning – Starting with a Plan

My day usually begins at 6:00 AM. Before heading to work, I have breakfast and get ready for the day ahead, after that, I drive to the metro station and continue my journey to the office.

I usually arrive at the office at around 8:30 AM and once that I arrive, one of the first things I do is check my emails and review the demands and priorities for the day. This helps me understand what needs my attention and organize my tasks accordingly.

After checking my emails, I start by reviewing the documents that have been sent to the office. This is an important part of my daily routine, as I need to make sure that the documents received are properly handled and ready for the next steps.

A large part of my morning is dedicated to digitalizing all the documents we receive and responding to emails. Although these tasks may seem straightforward, they require a high level of attention to detail. Ensuring that information is correctly processed and stored is essential when dealing with a large amount of documentation.

Afternoon – Keeping Everything Organized

During the afternoon, I continue working with the documentation received and make sure that everything is properly organized and archived.

One of my main responsibilities is maintaining the physical and digital archive. This means ensuring that all documents received are submitted and stored correctly so that they can be easily located when needed.

Working with both physical and digital documents requires organization and consistency. When dealing with a large amount of information, having a clear and well-maintained archive makes it much easier to keep processes moving and ensure that nothing is overlooked.

Throughout the day, attention to detail is one of the most important skills in my role. Even a small mistake in a document or archive can make it more difficult to find information later, so I always try to work carefully and systematically.

End of Day – Finishing with Everything in Order

My working day usually ends at 5:30 PM. Before leaving the office, I make sure that the tasks and documents I have been working on are properly handled and organized.

After work, I sometimes spend some time with my colleagues, which is a nice way to relax and finish the day.

Why This Work Matters

As a BackOffice Specialist, my role may often happen behind the scenes, but it plays an important part in keeping our processes organized and running smoothly.

Without a well-organized physical and digital archive, it can be difficult to manage a huge amount of information efficiently. Making sure that documents are properly submitted, digitalized, and archived helps ensure that information can be found when it is needed and that the processes around it can continue as they should.

One of the things I particularly enjoy about my work is the opportunity to come across documents from people of many different nationalities. Through these documents, I get to see and learn about different countries and backgrounds, which is an interesting part of my everyday work.

For me, being a BackOffice Specialist is about making sure that everything is in the right place and properly organized. By taking care of the documentation and archives, I help keep things moving and ensure that the wider team has the information they need to do their work efficiently.
